 1. Genetic Health Guarantee
Seller guarantees that the cat/kitten (“Cat”) is free from life-altering congenital or hereditary defects, as diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian, for a period of five (5) years from the date of transfer. If, within that period, the Cat is diagnosed with a covered congenital or hereditary condition that significantly affects the Cat’s quality of life, Buyer must provide Seller with complete veterinary records, diagnostic results, and written confirmation from the attending veterinarian. Seller reserves the right to seek a second opinion from a veterinarian of Seller’s choice at Seller’s expense. If the condition is confirmed, Seller’s remedy shall be replacement of the Cat with a comparable kitten/cat when available. No cash refund, reimbursement of veterinary expenses, or other damages shall be owed unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Seven-Day Illness Guarantee
Buyer must have the Cat examined by a licensed veterinarian within seventy-two (72) hours of pickup or delivery. Seller provides a seven (7) day guarantee from the date of transfer against serious contagious illness that is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian and documented as likely present prior to transfer. Buyer must notify Seller immediately and provide veterinary records. If Seller confirms the claim, Seller will either:
(a) accept return of the Cat and provide a full refund of the purchase price; or
(b) offer a replacement Cat when available, at Seller’s discretion.
This guarantee does not apply to illnesses caused by exposure after transfer, failure to isolate from other animals, stress-related minor conditions, or failure to obtain prompt veterinary care.

If, within seven (7) days of transfer, Buyer determines they cannot keep the Cat for non-medical reasons, Seller may, at Seller’s sole discretion, accept return of the Cat and repurchase the Cat for up to two-thirds (2/3) of the purchase price, less any non-refundable expenses. Buyer is responsible for all transport costs. 

3. Parasites and Skin Conditions
To the best of Seller’s knowledge, the Cat leaves Seller in good health and free of visible parasites and active skin disease at the time of transfer. Because parasites and fungal conditions may be acquired from the environment after transfer, Seller is not responsible for conditions arising after transfer unless Buyer provides veterinary documentation showing the condition was likely present prior to transfer and notifies Seller within the applicable guarantee period.

4. Veterinary Expenses After Transfer
Except as expressly stated in this Agreement, Buyer assumes all veterinary and related expenses after the Cat leaves Seller’s care.

5. Proper Care
Buyer agrees to keep the Cat as an indoor-only companion animal, provide proper nutrition, routine veterinary care, parasite prevention, a safe environment, and humane treatment at all times.

6. Spay/Neuter / No Breeding
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the Cat is sold strictly as a pet with no breeding rights. If the Cat is not already altered at the time of transfer, Buyer agrees to have the Cat spayed/neutered by the deadline stated by Seller and to provide proof from a licensed veterinarian. Any breeding-rights exception must be expressly stated in writing.

7. No Declawing
Buyer agrees that the Cat will never be declawed.

8. No Transfer Without Seller Notice
Buyer agrees that the Cat will not be sold, leased, surrendered, or given to any pet shop, research facility, shelter, rescue, or third party without first notifying Seller. If Buyer can no longer keep the Cat, Seller shall have the first opportunity to reclaim the Cat or assist in rehoming.

9. Neglect or Abuse
If Seller has credible evidence that the Cat is being abused, neglected, or kept in unsafe conditions, Seller reserves the right to demand return of the Cat. In such case, no refund shall be required.

10. Shipping and Miscellaneous Expenses
Any shipping, transport, health certificate, courier, or other miscellaneous expenses are the responsibility of Buyer unless otherwise stated in writing. Such expenses are non-refundable.

11. Limitation of Liability
Seller shall not be responsible for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, and shall not be responsible for expenses not expressly covered by this Agreement.
